In EVE your are free to define and build your future, the developers just give you the tools for it. You can stay in safe space and focus on pve, run missions, mine, manufacture ships and items, as well as trade on the fully player-controled market. You can also join a corporation and go into the jungle that is 0.0 (No-Security) space. Build space stations, claim sovereignty, wage war for territory and supremacy. The possibilities are endless.

    I haven’t played this game for about a year now (thanks to college) but I loved playing it when I had the time and spare cash for it. The free expansions every 3-4 months and laissez faire mindset of CCP make it enticing to return to. The learning curve is more of a cliff though.
