Recently EA launched their “free to play” NFS MMO. Disguised as a free mmo, you only have some kind of free trial, where you can play until lvl 10 and from there you have to buy a premium account, package to advance in level. Does this come as a surprise to anybody? I guess not.
Today, we are extremely excited to finally say that Need for Speed World is live and everyone can now download, install and play the game for free! It’s been a long time coming and the proverbial gates opened at 8:30 (PST) this morning.. We can’t wait to see you all on the road, and in my case, in my rear view mirror.
If you’re not quite sure how to play World then please take a few minutes to read through the Game Guide. In it you’ll find information on every aspect of the game including game controls, how to use Powerups, how to enter races and everything else you need to know about the game.
If you’re ready to go, you can download the game from http://World.NeedforSpeed.com. Once on the NFS World home page, simply click the “Download Now” button, install the game and launch it. Although, please note that you will need an EA account to log in and play the game.
