Anything that adds to the immersion factor of an MMO, I love. I pontificated earlier this week about my desire to see a robust, deep and fully featured economic and housing system in an MMO. Recently Star Trek Online released The Foundry, an attempt to get their players more involved in the story, lore and universe of STO. The Foundry allows players to create their own episodes (ie missions/quests) in the game and share them with their friends and potentially the entire playerbase. It is worth noting that while there is a lot of blasting and lasers in the video, you can easily generate non-combat episodes as well. The Foundry definitely has something for every fan of Star Trek!
