    “We are still in Alpha testing, information such as pricing etc won’t be released/finalized until the later stages of development”

    This was taken from the official forums. The game might be released this year, will see.

    I love the stronghold series and I still play them today. However I currently use a Mac and I would not want to have to duel boot windows in order to play it. Is it going to be available to both computer OS’s and is it going to contain cross compatible game play?

    From the official FAQ:

    # Will it run on Mac’s / Linux etc?
    # No information has yet been released covering platforms, for now it is Windows only. (no ETA/official stance on this as of yet)

    The old Stronghold series were worth. The online attempt might … IF they ever decide to provide customer support and consider capping the use of booster cards which some of the less competent players are relying on in order to ruing everyone else’s playing experience.

      No news at the moment. Official response was: “no. it is a PC based game that is installed via a .exe file. it is unsupported by mac”. Sorry :(
