    Darkorbit used to be a user friendly and very sociable game but now is trying its hardest to make the most money it can in the shortest period of time. A lot of protest has gone on about there methods and leaving the game difficult to play by incompetent programmers, every thing new also never works first time under every situation, bar one which is a tool for this game to make money which works perfectly.

    I unfortunately have spent a good deal of money on this game but advice to newer people looking at this game don’t play it, don’t spend money.

    Their customer service is poor. The players opinions are never listened to and since they’ve moved onto their “new client” the game has had even more technical issues than ever before.

    In conclusion this game is ran by a money hungry company, who don’t listen or care for the individual player as long as they are getting the money.

  • Dissappointed by Dark Orbit

    I ca only agree with the comment above. I have been playing Dark Orbit for 2 years now and in the beginning it was a fantastic game and although you had to spend money on it, the game experience and what you could achieve in game for your money was well worht it.

    Unfortunately now, the owners Big Point, I think are trying their hardest to create some kind of VIP club of players for Dark Orbit. Unless you can contribute to their bank account a significant amount of money on a weekly basis, you just cannot compete in the game. The sad things is, is that they market the game as a free game, however if you want to advance within the game to any kind of level where you will actually enjoy playing the game, you need to pay and pay steeply.

    The Customer Service that you receive is rude, disrespectful and downright outrageous. Don`t even think of complaining to the Customer service department / support team, because if you do, you might see your game account banned or suspended for a while. On the games forum side, they have an unending contribution from game players for ideas and updates the players would like to see in the game. To my knowledge few have actually been implemented and if they are, Dark Orbit ensure that it is going to burn a hole in your pocket.

    The sad thing is that most gamers accept that you may have to pay a little money towards playing a really good game, however this one in particular may well start costing you some #70 per week. Quite a steep payment.

    As above, my advice to new players looking at this game. Don`t start playing it. Unless BigPoint (the owners) start making some drastic changes to Customer Service and the quality / quantity or the game, you will just be throwing your money away.

    i have to agree with both the comments above darkorbit is a dying game they don’t care about players, they just want to make money lately many players have quit many which have been playing for 3 years such as myself who have spent tones of money on the game . Darkorbit has the worst support team unprofessional,

    I DO NOT recommend this game for new players since you will not be able to compete with others players unless your willing to spend $ 100 dollars a week and the new updates make it harder for free players
    ps.if you are a already a player stop spending money only way darkorbit going to change it ways and listen to the players suggestion

    I agree with all the above comments, dont waste your time or money on this game. The customer service is terrible, they dont take kindly to complaints, to top it off if you complain about a mod they give you the boohoo about how the mods dedicate their time to the game. sheesh they dont even pay their mods ,like thats my problem, i just wanna play a game that puts the customer first. dark orbit will not put you first they will however treat you like crap.

    I shoud agree too.. Cuz as more updates DarkOrbit makes as more money they wish.. payng 120EURO for designs is rediculous overkill. it is about Price of 2-3 Playstation3 games (with book, BlueRay disk, box ang GAME!).. Full Bio (one of updates) need aprromoxally 10mil uridium which means 1000EURO even with mega happy hour..it is price of full drivng REAL car of year 90s… like Mazda or even 3th/5th series BMW.. Players under 18 years, who dont have such huge income and dont have credit card, dont have even a chance to play normally…
    PS: Darkorbit Garena is closed - I wonder why? :D

    Sorry to say that I agree also. Playing for over 2 years and have just reached 1,000,000 ranking points. Top paying players, 6-8 million points. You want to really play, you have to pay, period. Buy this and get 20% more of that. Extra killing/shields/guns, pay,pay,pay.
    Make a suggestion and they answer you like a child. Too bad….
